CANDY
STAND/UMPIRING IMPORTANT NOTE The GLL wants to send a special note out to all the volunteers and people
that assist us in the Candy Stands and with Umpiring. First of all we thank you and truly appreciate your time, participation
and efforts. For the league to run smoothly and for us to do a lot of the things for the kids it is very important that
everyone adhere to the Candy Stand and Umpire Schedules and rules that have been handed out and are posted on this
website. If you are working in the Candy Stand or Umpiring a game for us and can not make it - please follow procedures
and get your replacement taken care of. Remember, this is all in support of the kids. Thank you in advance for
your cooperation and help in keeping things running smooth and efficiently. Managers/Coaches please remember to let
the Ladies Auxiliary know if a game is rescheduled so that the Candy Stands can be restocked and opened for that game.

Where is the Money going? The
GLL wants to keep you updated and informed as to where the money we receive from our fundraisers (like the beef-n-beverage),
sponsorships, registrations & donations goes. We have purchased a tremendous amount of new equipment including bats,
helmets, catching gear, balls, and equipment bags. We have updated the batting cage with new helmets, balls, nets, racks,
tees, hand held hitting aids while refurbishing three pitching machines and painting the ceiling. We upgraded all the
players uniforms this year. We upgraded our fields with capping & backstops while refurbishing both tractors.
We held an umpires clinic which was a tremendous success. We started this website to keep everyone informed. We
replaced our old Championship banners with new ones. We supplied Fall Baseball T-shirts to the tournament teams.
These are some of the things we are doing to make your childs baseball experience in the Glendora Little League a fun and
exciting one.
