 3.      President (Frank Plefka) Report
·        Review Previous Meeting Minutes:  Frank reviewed the previous meeting minutes which included Work Parties, New Locks, Whitebirch Kitchen, Opening Day, Manager/Board Meeting and Registrations.·        New Keys: New keys were handed out to Managers for the cages but the locks will be rekeyed again by the Township and those new keys will be handed out once the job is completed.·        Work Parties: Thanks to everyone that showed up Tuesday through Friday to shovel snow and work on the fields to ensure everything was in great shape for Tryouts and also to those that went over Catalina to sort through equipment and prepare the equipment bags.  ·        Tryouts: Tryouts were organized and everything went as planned.  Thanks to everyone that showed up and helped make the day such a success, especially those that hung in there from beginning to end.·        Drafts:  All drafts have been completed and went well (T-Ball was done after this meeting).  Practices are under way already and going well.·        Whitebirch Kitchen: We were advised that new cabinets and countertops will be put on in Whitebirch and ready for Opening Day – possibly within a week or so.  We will need to paint the kitchen before Opening Day.
 4.      Vice President (Harry Reilly) Report
·        Sponsorships: We are still working on silver and bronze sponsorships.  Sports Outlet will be doing a Silver Sponsorship and possibly adding some things on.  We need Team Sponsorships done within 1-1/2 weeks from today.
 5.      Secretary (Rich Rinaldi) Report
·        General:  Distributed previous meeting minutes and voting eligibility information.·        Mail:  New mail amounted to another $120 in donations on behalf of John Koch III.  Thank you letters were sent.
 6.      Treasurer (Joe Snyder) Report
·        Finances: Joe reported financial information through this meeting which included a balance of $28,783.35.·        PayPal: Joe provided a list of PayPal transactions from 1/5 through 3/6 (15 total transactions).
 7.      Field Director (Steve Bentley) Report
·        Township: Credit to Lenny and the Township as all the fields have been topped off and work orders have been submitted and carried out already.·        Work Parties: There will be two work parties this Saturday March 14th.  Catalina will be at 2:00 PM and Fernwood at 4:00 PM.  Anyone that can give any amount of time would be greatly appreciated.·        Tractor Repair & Maintenance:  Steve will check with Rich Dayton who offered his time to maintain the Tractors.
 8.      Safety Director (Bo Cerveny) Report
·        2009 Safety Program: Safety Program has been completed and mailed.·        Ice Packs: There are ice packs at all fields (7th Ave will be done tomorrow).
 9.      Umpire-In-Chief (Paul Merklein) Report
·         Umpire Clinic:  Reminder that there will be an umpire clinic Sunday March 22nd from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at Catalina Field.  All Managers/Coaches and anyone interested in umpiring any games must attend.
  10.   Player Agent (Mike O’Brien) Report
·        Registrations:  As of this meeting we have 240 signups which is the biggest number we have had.  There will be 7 T-Ball teams, 3 Major teams, 5 Minor teams, 6 Pony teams and 1 Junior team.  We are 2 to 3 players away from a Senior team and it looks like that will happen.  ·        Tryouts:  Per our League Constitution there will be a tryout one week before the season starts for any late registrations.  Team names will be picked out of a hat and it is in that order that players will be placed.
 11.   Equipment Manager (Rick Boutilier) Report
·        Team Equipment Bags: All equipment bags have been handed out and signed for except 3 Pony bags which will be distributed and signed for tonight.  ·        Uniforms:  All uniforms have been ordered except T-Ball which should be ordered by this weekend.
 12.   Division Coordinator Reports
·        Majors (Henry Theisen): A reminder to call Henry after 4/2 to schedule batting cage or field time.·        T-Ball (Chris Clark): New T-Ball Managers are Nick DeFinis & Connie D’Ambrosia which makes 7.  Draft will be after this meeting as well as picking team names.
 13.   NEW BUSINESS
·        Fernwood Candy Stand: The Township is not going to make any renovations to Fernwood – All information points to it being torn down before they will invest any money in fixing or improving it.  We will need to make repairs ourselves as needed.·        Schedules: Inner-League schedules our Major, Junior and Senior divisions so that is out of our hands. It looks like we may get Bellmawr to come in and play our “odd” Major team for Opening Day.  We are still looking for a team to come in and play our “odd” number Minor team. Ponies are fine for Opening Day and T-Ball we may have one team that may not play.·        Catalina Field: Catalina Field will be used on Opening Day.·        Catalina Batting Cage:  Whiteboard has been installed.  A reminder to keep the cage in order, keep players under control and to cleanup when you are finished.  Also, The Green Heaters stay plugged in all the time – Do not shut off.·        Memorandum/Friends Plaque: Frank will get together with Chris Clark to follow-up on this.·        District 14 Meeting:  There is a District 14 meeting Sunday March 15th at the Brooklawn American Legion – start time is 7:00 PM.  The more the better that can show up to represent the GLL.

14.
