GLENDORA LITTLE LEAGUE
Welcome to the official website of the Glendora Little League located in Glendora, NJ -The Bob DiDonato 2008 Memorial Baseball Tournament has concluded with Glendora winning two of the three Championships.  For over 46 years the Glendora Little League has been instructing and teaching boys and girls the great game of baseball.  Learn how to play the game properly. Learn about teamwork and sportsmanship while having a whole lot of fun.  Support your community and the little league by joining in and participating. The Glendora Little League teaches kids from the T-Ball level through the Junior/Senior Level.  The Glendora Little League is  now in District 14.   The Glendora Little League is home to six fields at our Fernwood, Whitebirch, Catalina & 7th Avenue facilities.  The Glendora Little League also has a completely refurbished indoor batting cage for all of its players to enjoy. Let's Play Ball!  The annual Bob DiDonato Memorial Baseball Tournament has just concluded Sunday June 29.  The Glendora 7 & 8 year old teams each won the Championship in their respective brackets.  Congratulations to all the Players, Managers, Coaches, Parents, Coordinators, Ladies Auxiliary and Volunteers for supporting the Glendora Little League and again making our Tournament a trememdous success.  Next up - End of Season Picnic - Then Fall Baseball!

LITTLE LEAGUE MEMBER

The Glendora Little League is associated with and a proud member of the "Little League" Organization which hosts the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA. By playing in the Glendora Little League your child has the opportunity to participate in the Little League World Series.  Did you know the "Little League" organization was founded in 1939 and in 1947 Hammonton, NJ became the first little league outside of Pennsylvania.  The first Little League World Series was won by the Maynard Midgets from Williamsport, Pennsylvania.  The little league World Series was televised for the first time in 1953 with Howard Cosell handling the play by play - it was won by Birmingham, Alabama.

CONSTITUTION

We are excited that you are visiting our site.  The Glendora Little League is here to teach the kids and provide a safe & happy environment to learn and grow.  On this site you will find detailed information about our league.  We hope you will find it helpful.  The Glendora Little League is governed by our CONSTITUTION.  The latest changes to our Constitution were approved at the January 9th General Meeting.  To view the CONSTITUTION click here.

FALL BASEBALL 2008

The Glendora Little League is taking registrations for Fall Baseball 2008.  The Glendora Little League wants all players to have the best baseball experience possible. Our plan for Fall Baseball in 2008 will be to include tournament games, practice games, instructional practices, and instructional clinics sponsored & paid for by the league, and of course our INDOOR BATTING CAGE!  You can view the Fall Baseball Flyer which does include the starting date by clicking right here.

 The Bob DiDonato Memorial Baseball Tournament results to date are:
  

Congratulations to the Glendora 7-Year Olds who defeated Washington Township 18 to 6 to win the 7-Year Old Championship.  This makes back-to-back Championship for the Sevens.

Congratulations to the 8-Year Olds who defeated the South Jersey Warriors 17 to 9 to win the 8-Year old Championship. 

Congratulations to the 10-year old Tournament Champions South Vineland who defeated the Evesham Road Runners yesterday 6/28.

Our 9-Year Old team loss to Erial and ended up in the consolation game which they tied.  Congratulations to the 9-Year old team for a great Tournament.


 

Age Groups – League Age

The Age groups are listed below.  Your League Age is the age that you are prior to the first of May that year.

T-BALL (4-6 must be 4-6 prior to 5/1)
PONY (7-8 must be 7&8 prior to 5/1)

MINOR (9-10 must be 9&10 prior to 5/1)
MAJOR (11 -12 must be 11&12 prior to 5/1)
Junior (13-14 must be 13&14 prior to 5/1)
Senior (15-16 must be 15&16 prior to 5/1)
